Brush Up Buffalo 2009
Brush Up Buffalo 2009 took place
in the University Heights area of
Buffalo.
16 houses were painted that day.
On June 20, 2009, something happened for the first time in Brush Up Buffalo history... we were rained out. It didn't just rain - it poured, all day long. Due to inclement weather, the event was rescheduled to the following
Saturday, June 27. This, unfortunately, meant that many of our volunteers were unavailable on this new date. We put a call out for more volunteers, and many Buffalonians answered that call.
More than 300 volunteers were ready when June 27th dawned warm, bright, and thankfully rain-free.
