Brush Up Buffalo to Announce Neighborhood for 2007 Event
Call for volunteers issued at annual kick-off breakfast

Brush Up Buffalo – a not-for-profit, all-volunteer
organization that repaints and revitalizes nearly a dozen or more City
of Buffalo homes each year in June during an all-day event – is hosting
its annual Kick-Off Breakfast for 2007. At the breakfast, Brush Up
Buffalo officials will:
- announce the site of Brush Up Buffalo 2007
- acknowledge the major sponsors (to date) of Brush Up Buffalo 2007
- announce the estimated number of homes Brush Up Buffalo will paint this year
- kick-off the organization’s annual drive to sign-up paint team volunteers
- acknowledge the paint teams that have already registered
Representatives also will announce a few exciting additions to the
scope of work at this year’s event, and showcase a new eight-minute
recruiting and sponsorship DVD. A continental breakfast will be served.

Brush Up Buffalo is a not for profit organization that utilizes
community-minded volunteers and donated supplies to help low-income
families in the City of Buffalo spruce up their homes and revitalize
their neighborhoods. Each year, the one-day event attracts teams from
businesses, unions, community groups, and city and county government
who work together to “Brush Up” nearly a dozen or more Buffalo homes.
