Annual
Team Leader Breakfast acquaints volunteer teams with houses they will
paint in June; organization also acknowledges seven companies that
recently donated a total of $ 17,500
Brush Up Buffalo – a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization that
repaints and revitalizes about a dozen City of Buffalo homes each year
in June during an all-day event – will welcome dozens of volunteer team
leaders throughout Western New York at its annual Team Leader
Breakfast. At the event, Brush Up Buffalo officials will assign teams
to houses, review important day-of-event information and answer
questions about Brush Up Buffalo 2007 – which takes place Saturday,
June 16.
Additionally, Brush Up Buffalo will
acknowledge companies who recently made generous donations, helping the
organization reach its fundraising goal for the year. They include:
Allstate Insurance ($5,000) The Wendt Foundation ($ 5,000), Bank of
America ($ 2,500), Capital Management Services ($2,500), M&T Bank
($ 1,500), Malcolm Pirnie ($ 500) and UPS ($ 500).
Upon
conclusion of the breakfast, team leaders will have the opportunity to
view the nearby homes that they will paint on June 16. ***MEDIA ARE

Brush
Up Buffalo is a not for profit organization that utilizes
community-minded volunteers and donated supplies to help low-income
families in the City of Buffalo spruce up their homes and revitalize
