More than a dozen homes in the Kensington-Bailey neighborhood will
be painted this year as part of Brush Up Buffalo 2005, scheduled
for June 18.
The announcement was made Thursday during the program's annual drive
for volunteers to do the painting. Organizers are hoping for 750
to 1,000 volunteers to paint 15 homes or more, depending on what
additional donations and grants become available, officials said.
Brush Up Buffalo is an all-volunteer organization that repaints
and revitalizes more than a dozen homes each June in Buffalo during
an all-day event.
