Join more than 600 volunteers for Brush Up Buffalo 2008 on Saturday, June 14. Since 1996, this all-volunteer organization has repainted more than 220 homes for low-income homeowners in Buffalo. This year, Brush Up Buffalo comes to the Lovejoy
neighborhood and will repaint 15 to 20 homes. No experience is
necessary.
Register today at www.brushupbuffalo.org —it
takes only a minute to do. Teams are encouraged, and those with 30 or
more volunteers can repaint a home on their own. Volunteers must meet
at the Central Terminal no later than 7:15 a.m. on the day of the
event, and will receive a t-shirt, breakfast, bus shuttling to and from
the houses, refreshments, and a picnic lunch upon completion. Paint and
some supplies are provided.
Make history and follow Western New Yorkers
as Brush Up Buffalo revitalizes the Lovejoy neighborhood directly
around P.S. #43 Lovejoy Discovery School, which is undergoing
reconstruction.
Sign-up online today and be part of the tradition.
Additional corporate sponsors are still needed. Call 716/250-3353 for
more information or visit www.brushupbuffalo.org.
