Brush Up Buffalo, a not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization focused on revitalizing City of Buffalo neighborhoods, needs 250 additional volunteers for its annual event on Saturday, June 14. The organization would like to paint 15 homes for low-income homeowners in the Lovejoy neighborhood.

Brush Up Buffalo recently secured $ 11,500 in sponsorships. The donations will help to fully finance Brush Up Buffalo 2008, an annual event where more than 600 volunteers repaint 15 to 20 low-income homes in the city. This year's event takes place on Saturday, June 14 in the Lovejoy neighborhood, in the area bounded by Bailey Avenue, William Street and Ogden Street.

Brush Up Buffalo announced this morning that it will paint 15 low-income homes in the Lovejoy Neighborhood for Brush Up Buffalo 2008. The annual event will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2008 in the area bounded by William, Greene, North Ogden, and Broadway Streets.
